Saga's self written track " Love like this" has been chosen as one of the songs through the open contest in the Finnish qualification for the Eurovision song contest for 2010!! From the selected open contestants 3 songs that received the most votes will go through to the semi-finals broadcasted live in the Finnish national television YLE2 in January 2010. The vote begins October 1st untill October 15th and you can vote for the songs with text messages. Brilliant news! Keep on voting for Saga as of tomorrow!

Currently busy writing and recording on her second album, Saga is taking some time off from promotion and re-charging the batteries. The next album is scheduled for release spring 2010, so keep tuned for some sneak previews soon to come!

Music label DIG Music has licensed Fly Away to Norway and eventually also to other Scandinavian countries. Kai lofthus's DIG music is a sub-publisher of Talpa Music Germany and as passionate about promoting music as one can be. Saga's single is getting heavy promotion in Norway and rumored to appear shortly on NRK - Norway's biggest national radio!

Deluxe Recordings launches Saga Bloom's first official single release from her album Enlightenment - Fly Away, a production by Saga Bloom and WaterlandMusic's Joachim Vermeulen Windsant. It is a mystical electro-pop track made out of lyrical poetry and enchanting hook from an ancient Finnish folk song (Saamen Neito). The lyrics describe emotions of being lost and feeling despair from which you can "fly away" by having comfort in music. Following the theme from Saga's album Enlightenment Fly Away speaks about finding inner peace by means of music.

The single release is also accompanied by an extended play (EP) containing a remaster of the radio edit and two remixes, set for a release February 27th 2009. Producer Joa-G created a commercial radio friendly dance pop remix, followed by a massive club banger refix by DJ/Producer Chew Fu.

The single and the EP are now available on all major download stores!

The delicious tracks, mixtures of electro beats, pop melodies, national folk chants and poetry create a super sensual combination that only this Northern European singer masters. Representing now with a true Finnish name with ancient roots, she feels this fits her profile better than the previous affiliate Deluxe. “It was meant for something fun, for the single release of “Like a Queen”, Saga says. “When you think of Star Wars Saga Deluxe Edition, you get the right picture!. So, from this perspective it was ok for the single release, but the album is a serious statement and it should reflect to me as an artist and as an individual person. As Enlightenment represents me from a fully grown up perspective it is only fitting to present it with the name Bloom which refers to a new beginning. As here I am – on a new beginning of a new path!”
